Worked for both companies. You are absolutely correct! Guess who owned
KSAN-FM in San Francisco when it was doing the hippy-dippy creative thing?
Yep! Metromedia.

I was sorry when RKO had to sell the stations because of the overseas
boo-boo with General Tire (or was it AeroJet General?) I was at KFRC when
they sat us down and said everything was OK. Just to calm everyone's nerves.
