At the time Wall Street didn't care much about radio. Companies like 
RKO General and Metromedia were run by real broadcasters with a 
passion for their product. They had to make the one or two stations 
they owned in a market really mean something. They pioneered more 
than the next quarter's results. Creativity meant more than figuring 
out how many people you can get rid of and still survive. Times 
change. Our future is IBUZ. Very sad.
