This seems to be especially true in the Engineering community. I remember 
when I was first "getting my feet wet" in B'cast Engineering, actually being 
amazed that competitors would help one another out like this... but it's actually 
common practice. Of course, the fact that they are also Hams adds that 
additional level of camaraderie. :)
