HMMM inquiring minds want to know what "flamed out" so bad that it can't=
be fixed?
Well.. the IPA stuff.. the radio had been on fire.. burnt wires out of t=
he step start contactors.. lots of stuff... we had planned on replacing =
it, and were able to get a new transmitter ASAP as it worked out. This i=
s the main revenue generator station for the group and it was / is desir=
ed to have a reliable main. =
The FM20H2 is one of the very early ones that didn't even have the overl=
oad lamps to tell you why it wouldn't start :-)
The nick-name of this series of radios is "FlameThrower" after all.

ike that - I think that added to it being pretty "cranky". =
A DRS/Continental (with the "Jet Engine" blower I dispise) is in service=
now. =
Oh and KLTG is 96.5, not 96.4.. typo.. :)

rk for WOOD-AM-FM. My boss didn't want to teach me anything (job =
Well, in my 40's.. barely .. :) been doing radio since 1997. USAF and ot=
her transmitter maintenance and two way before that. =
I love working with others and learning - I always learn something!
