That's nuts. Apparently, this listener actually took that literally... many 
people use it as a figure of speech: An order like, "If you don't do this, 
you're fired!" would be seen as a "gun to the head" scenario.

I guess that PD learned that he should, um, consult the *PD* before doing 
another stunt like that, eh?
