Folks are always trying to make something 
out of call letters.   The historic Worlds Greatest
Newpaper, WGN etc.
 
On the Left Coast we have easier to deal with 
letters.  Here in Seattle we have KOMO, KING
and KIRO (all words you can pronounce)
 
Sacremento was famous with KRAK.
 
In the world of Ham Radio I recall 
Gordy Norris - W7FU, or Phil, WA7UGF
or Jack K7AFU.
