It IS pretty cool to see the side of a house whited out.
Used to get that lake effect stuff when I was a kid.
Also got some just plain cold temps. The last night I was there scraping
the windshield it was around -35 with 40 mph winds kicking in a bit of a
wind chill.
The (now furiously blowing smaller snow) was probably all busted up due
to colliding with everything in the area... but filled in tire tracks and
etc. lots faster than it
piled up on the side of the house.
trees are a whole nother matter. they fill up quickly.
