I can imagine that the Bonneville people were wearing their asbestos /
Kevlar suits when they announced the changes. They'll certainly hear
a lot from the classical listeners. 104.1 is even worse in Silver
Spring than in Bethesda because of the first-adjacent 104.3 signal
from Baltimore. And also the first-adjacency of common-programmed
103.9 Class A in Frederick. One can expect that WGMS will never be #3
or #4 in the Arbitrons again.
Lots of rumors that local professional sports play-by-play will show
up on 1500 / 107.7 / 820 .
The 104.3 in Leesburg is just a translator for 107.7 at the moment.
Agree that Bonneville never really had its heart in the rock on 104.1
/ 103.9 .
Interesting times.
