If you're going to invest that kind of money, you might as well get 
the patented moonrock turntable base that absorbs speaker feedback, 
earthquakes and meteor strikes. We would never have been able to use 
them when WOR occasionally played music. 1440 Broadway sat on top 
almost every subway line in the city. Imagine the rumble of hundreds 
of 10 car trains a day. That's not counting the millions of daily 
footsteps in Times Square from overweight tourists.
