[BC] Cell phones getting better?

And understand from the carriers end, they often
have to deal with planning commissions that make
unreasonable requests, even to the point of directly
asking for bribes.

I own towers. I don't build them, I don't normally
do builds to suit, I just buy wayward towers and give
them a good home - hopefully with renters sooner or
later. This exempts us from many zoning issues, as
the towers are already there - BUT - some places
we even have to deal with zoning to ADD A
TRANSMITTER! Any modification to the tower,
adding an antenna, adding a sat dish, adding anything,
requires zoning in some places.

Thats taking things a bit too far. Some zoning boards
are as has been stated, god like in thier acts.

That said, we welcome co-locators, from maine to
Colorado. We love zoning rules that push carriers to
co-locate - but more often than not, they want to
co-locate anyways.

Now, there are some site acq guys out there, that
point carriers to the site acq guys land that they will
do a build to suit on....................
