I seem to recall a transmitter company named AEL.
LF
American Electronic Labs AEL, built AM-FM Transmitters They sold their
broadcast division to somone and it would up at CCA-2 in Atlanta, GA.
The company didn't fold they were also very big in CATV equipment and at
leats one of the founders of QEI came from AEL as I recall.
