KTTV in  LA has an NEC, though I don't think it's in operation any longer.
I saw one  other NEC in the last few months, but I'll be darned if I can
remember  where it was now.

I think you will be surprised at how many are still operating in the  USA   
maybe some have gone to standby as the parts service has  changed.  However 
they run forever.
