Brief soapbox mode...

Those stupid things drive me *crazy*! You're trying to watch a show, when 
every few minutes some stupid thing jumps up and down, back and forth, etc. at 
the bottom of your screen. It is not only very *distracting*, it is utterly 
*annoying* to the N'th degree! Sometimes, it even covers or partly obscures 
something important/interesting in that screen space.

Don't even get me started on the animated "bugs"...
