James may have been referring to Augusta sta' when he told audience as kid he 
shined shoes on steps of hometown radio station and 'today, I own that 
station'. Occasion, televised performance, WGBH 2, Boston following either MLK or 
RFK assassination. Brown graciously flew in to calm tensions real and perceived. 
Addressed large audience w/inspirational speech, then let fly with fantastic 
soul concert.

Anyone else recall detail criminally omitted from today's reportage re 
deputies experienced difficulty cuffing Brown following SC - GA chase? Press reports 
stated he 'kept breaking into his goodfoot dance'. Something to file away for 
future use.
