Copper weld is "built" here in TN.

They will only sell in roll quantity.  Several ham supplies 
sell copperweld in cut quantity.  Ron Nott sells his 
twisted copperweld in cut qty AFIK.

   As one that has used copperweld in the air and under the 
ground (#6 awg)
I can tell you:
   The first time they go to cut it they will know it isn't 
copper.
   (take a pair of household pliers and cut a piece of #10 
copper and
then a coat hanger, (#14 I would guess) you will see!
   Copperweld is the answer and it is much cheaper than 
copper.
