Sure... that's *plenty* of room for a 12v 7ah gel cell to run the 
power-hungry thing. Padded shoulder strap available seperately. ;)

As others have suggested- dump the proprietary exclusivity, and start 
licensing the technology at a more reasonable rate. Then other manufacturers can 
start bringing these chipsets to market in sufficient quantities to bring prices 
into the acceptable range for Joe Sixpack.
