   As one that has used copperweld in the air and under the ground (#6 awg)
I can tell you:
   The first time they go to cut it they will know it isn't copper.
   (take a pair of household pliers and cut a piece of #10 copper and
then a coat hanger, (#14 I would guess) you will see!
   Copperweld is the answer and it is much cheaper than copper.
