There were pictures posted recently on the Clear Channel Engineer's list,
showing in graphic detail the results of someone trying to steal copper from
an electrical substation. This included limbs burned off, and scorched skin
patches where the electricity entered the body. If some of these pictures
could be publicized, it might at least slow down some of the thieving.
Personally, I'm in favor of the landmines, but with the crazy laws they have
nowadays, you can't use deadly force to defend yourself against theft.
