The 86A was functionally the same, but the same size as the BA-6. As far as
I'm concerned, it was better than the BA-6

I ever used.  It was on a Western Electric 6 B transmitter.  Its instruction
book had 1936 in the manual.  The Unit was on two chassis, Bl;ack on the
front and chome chassis on the back.  An audio deck and a powers supply deck
were in two sections.
