[BC] processing way back when

The RCA 96A  with its round meter and chrome chassis was the oldes limiter I ever used.  It was on a Western Electric 6 B transmitter.  Its instruction book had 1936 in the manual.  The Unit was on two chassis, Bl;ack on the front and chome chassis on the back.  An audio deck and a powers supply deck were in two sections.
 
The other older limiter was the Western Electric 1126-C.  I was installed in 1939 on a new Western Electric 405-B2, 5 kW. Rig.

The 96a was the Deluxe RCA version, chrome chassis and built in tube tester.
It was very heavy also!
Have one in the collection.
