As a road worrier from way back I can tell you if you ship the equipment
down there look at nine to fourteen days in customs, if you hand carry
the equipment as excess baggage with a certificate of registration
(customs form 4455) and a letter from a local official that approved
your remote you can walk by all the problems with your "tools of your
trade" to and from your remote. I normally carry 5 to 7 anvil cases with
280 to 420 lbs. as long as the pieces are less than 90 lbs. the airline
will take them.
