To the best of my knowledge, the Red Book standard does not include
this information. There is, however, a unique identifier on each CD
that allows linking to the data from various online databases. Most
music programs such as iTunes will automatically link to this
information and add it to the song list before you rip.

In short, the data is not actually on the disc, but is readily
available online.
