It pains me to say this, but I think it was the HD Dominion who, 
against iBuckuity's recommendation, made a big deal of High 
Definition and Seedy Quality. While I consider both organizations to 
be Agents of Darkness I can't find the Seedy Quality claim coming 
from iBuckuity. Either way, a phony claim has been taken seriously by 
those who haven't a clue about cascading codec quality and are acting 
as though it were lossless digital. They're very powerful and the 
agents behind nearly every piece of restrictive digital legislation 
that exists.

Ask any recording engineer if lossy digital compares with high 
quality analog and the laughter will be deafening and prolonged.
