A couple of weeks ago, Deutsche Welle eliminated practically all
shortwave broadcasts targeting North America, so you would have a
tough time listening even if you wanted to. I'm still able to hear
some of their evening broadcasts to Africa and Europe, but they're
quite noisy off the main lobe.
Anyway, here's a question about this directive, which might require
clarification: Is it necessary to transmit a different "callsign" in
the message header sent on secondary channels (for example, WTOP-2 or
WTOP-HD2) or can they all use the same call as the primary station?
