[BC] 110 V DC

The real problem comes when you want to use a very common 240V device
in a commercial building because many only have 120/208 and 277/480
systems.  But 208 is generally too low for a 240 device and 277 is too
high so you usually wind up having to use a autotransformer to boost
208 or cut 277.
