This is the first time in my many (and they are many) years that I have not
met, as you say, the guy who signs the checks. This coming August will be 4
years! I've never spoken with/to him. I've never met him. I've only recently
seen a picture of him on his website. I don't understand it but I think this
falls under the column where you're told you should never give names to the
animals on your farm because someday they might be taken to slaughter or
possibly placed on your very own table for consumption. EVEN when I was with
CBS radio I knew the head of the AM/FM division and the guy over his head.
I met them both and broke bread with them.
Something is wrong with this picture.
