The station I work for had a IC10 in it's production studio for many
years. It was a my first board that the engineer asked me to install
a additional audio source. I opened the top and all I saw was chaos.
terminal strips with no labels. It took me a while looking for the
service manual and studying it to figure out what set of terminals was
the input I was looking for. I thought that unit was just a old relic
of a beast back then. As time went on, that old relic of a beast was
the most trouble free board in my studios. It's not in service any
more, but, I don't have the heart to get rid of it either.
