We've also noticed trouble with the CDMA (Verizon) version of Telular 
terminals not playing very well with Gentner/Burk DTMF remote controls. 
  Too much non-supressed echo or something.

However, the GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) version of the same device seems to 
work quite well.  At least here in Miami.  YMMV, apparently.
