I have to agree with you, Bill.  [For the most part] If Joe Sixpack can hear
the game or the umpteenth play of Sweet Home Alabama he's happy.  I like the
stereo experience, but the cost to obtain it (Motorola or IBOC) has always
been too high and for the average Dick or Jane (98 out of 100 people) it
simply doesn't matter.

Interesting thought:  You probably have IBOC on at least one of your FM
signals... Split the feed off from your regular old-fashioned source and
offer $100 to the first 25 callers from IBOC listeners and see how much
money you have to give away.  Yeah, I know, too much trouble to be able to
do this but it might prove that people are listening in HD or maybe the
opposite.

Just my never to be humble opinion, but AM stereo (of which I was a
supporter) maybe like HD radio was a solution in search of a problem.  Most
people I talked to back then could care less about stereo on AM.  To a lot
of them "stereo" meant High quality, not even two channel!
