While the analogy is often made between broadcasting and the horse and
buggy... here's one buggy-whip maker who's thinking in terms of putting
something out there to serve the specialized market that can ONLY be
served by "the friendly voice"...
Now, what that voice is saying is a whole 'nuther topic, because the
PLATFORM DOESN'T MATTER! If the content is there, people will listen.
The content might be local news and information; it might be a niche
music format, it might even be disaster communications. There's one
place - and ONLY one place - that can meet ALL those needs and more...
broadcast radio.
There WILL always be a need for us, but are we up to the challenge?

And for those who are wondering where the rest of my sig line is, I may
be suspending RadioXTZ due to financial difficulties.. as in a short
week = a short paycheck, and the folks at Employment Security don't
think anyone works at piecework rates any more....
