I realize your mileage may vary,,,but, my experience with linksys has been very poor. i have found with some consistency that about half of their products do not fully work reliably long term. same with D Link. Even if they work out of the box, their performance is not dependable nor consistent, and seems to degrade with time. factory resets and reloads of firmware dont always fix the problem. Netgear tends to be ok. Cisco can kiss my ass. $800 dollars for eight ports and the rack mount is optional!!?? I tend to buy 3Com now, 16 ports and rack mount for $500. Or HP for AoIP if necessary. In several projects now, where everyone was sure I had something programmed wrong, the fault was eventually found to be at either the Linksys, the DLink or the device,,,but everyone is quick to blame the integrator or tell you that you need to learn more about IP. The best thing to have in these projects is a sniffer.
