I was told by an engineer for a Long Island, NY AM station he was over 1000
Hz off frequency after servicing his oscillator! A TV CE told me one of his
engineers recorded the frequencies of the co-owned AM & FM stations. The AM
was off over 300 Hz and the staff engineer just wrote it down on the log! He
told the CE he thought the tolerance was +/- 2000 Hz. Not for AM......
