Fellow engineers:

A good friend of mine is having trouble finding project work and is
getting very discouraged and bitter about it, even depressed. He lives
in the Nashville area, where you'd think there would be work after all
the floods, but no one has been in touch with him. He's actually been
doing some pro bono work for one of the Nashville AMs that was heavily
damaged and has no budget for repairs, just to pass the time.

His rates are reasonable, and his expertise great, but, like many
engineers, he's much better with the gear than with people, and he's not
been very successful at lining up work in this leanest of years.

He can do AM, AM DA, studios, computers and networking, and transmitter
repairs and retuning. He has hi-power AM experience, and even some TV
transmitter expertise. Like many of us, he's not as young as he used to
be, but he has no significant physical limitations.

If anyone has any project work in the mid-South that they need an old
hand for, either to work alone or as part of a crew, contact me off-list
and I will put you in touch with him.
