[BC] The Return of Improper Use of EAS Tones

I heard the spot this evening as well.

It appears to be a set of EOM tones run several times. Perhaps someone can
be more specific.

The FCC seems unwilling to make a statement about the use of such tones,
other than to tell those calling that they will turn the information over to
the EB.

Spots like this clearly devalue the attention-getting EAS tones... and a strong
statement should be issued - although bureaucratic wheels turn exceedingly fine
and slowly. It doesn't seem to be that critical in the cubicles.
