The best advice I ever heard was from a pilot in Southeast Alaska that 
flew for 21 years in some of the worst weather imaginable.  He never put 
a dent in any of his airplanes..

"The best move you will ever make is a 180 degree turn before you get 
into trouble.  Wack your ego between the eyes with a baseball bat".

"You never HAVE to be anywhere".
