FWIW - and I can't verify this myself - one person mentioned that 
godaddy has a reputation of watching people do a search and then 
"reserve" the URLs for a couple of days, just to get you to deal with 
buying it from them.

Also of interest, Chris told me this evening that Virtbiz.com, where 
this list is hosted, does registrations for $15.  Since Chris has 
been so supportive of oldradio.com and this list, there is no 
question but that I will now use his services.  Virtbiz also does 
hosting. In case anyone is in need, at least you can let them quote 
you for service - they might be just what you need.
