Despite fierce new technology competition radio companies are reporting 
a strong first quarter. 

Spanish Broadcasting far exceeds guidance with increase of  21% in net 
revenues in first quarter. That's up 21% from last year. Marko Radlovic 
is promoted to company's EVP/COO

Salem reported yesterday it earned $2.4 million, or 9 cents a share in 
first quarter compared with net income of $1.2 million or 5 cents a share 
in the same period last year. Revenue increased to $50.2 million from $45.1 
million. 

Cox radio reports record first quarter with net revenues increasing 5.9% 
to $98,560,000.  Q1 operating income also exceeded guidance and was up 
11.4%. 

Radio One's first quarter. Net broadcast revenue was approximately $77.0 
million, an increase of 11% from the same period in 2004. Operating income 
was approximately $28.7 million, an increase of 13% from the same period 
in 2004. 

Regents first quarter was up 7.1% to $18.6 million. net income increased 
21% to $386,000. 

Univision shows Q1 net revenue increases of 23% with net income up 41%.
