UHF  analog had a max ERP of 5 megawatts...

Which gives a "black power" of just under 3 megawatts...

With the corresponding power levels of 315 kw VHF-Hi and 100 kw VHF-Lo...

What does that tell you about the required power levels for DTV?

other than that they should be at least 10 dB higher than they are - or 
than the corresponding analog signals were?
