If this was an RCA BTF transmitter I'd say you could be looking at the 
jumper straps being moved. I don't know if the Collins is as picky as an 
RCA. In the RCA if you as much as bumped the strap near the driver tube 
you would loose all drive until you mechanically got it back into its 
exact spot. Not having seen the Collins driver stage anytime in recent 
history I don't know if there is anything in that one that could have 
been bumped out of position while you were fussing around with all the 
other things.
