[BC] Acer Aspire

Dave, I bought my Aspire One spur-of-the-moment at Wal-Mart... didn't 
comparison shop... a new battery for my old laptop was gonna run me about 
$120... I saw Win XP and $350.00 and thought it was worth a shot.

I completely love it. I use it a lot for remote access to my automation 
systems when I'm away from the studios, re: at home, running around town, on 
the road. It boots quickly, easy to browse on, good for e-mail maintenance 
on the weekends. Steve Ordinetz suggested a mouse, and I agree. Doesn't have 
a cd drive, but that's not been an issue yet. It's got both wired and wi-fi 
net access, and a bunch of usb's.

I've got Adobe Audition on my bigger laptop, & haven't put it on the Acer, 
because I'm afraid it might not have the processing power to run it. It is 
what it is... a little box to give me convenient Net access.

I'd buy another in a hearbeat, and I use this one a lot.
