 I suppose you could look at it that the DC pulses ( which DC by definition
 has no phase ) are the same "as if" you had a 12 phase AC input to
 half-wave rectification.
 To me, what we have here is sales obfuscation of the real, for the
 purpose of sensationalism. Selling sizzle, not steak.
