[BC] IP address blocking

I've used both... Using Sonic Wall right now and there's absolutely no
comparison. Linksys WRT54GL is consumer, Sonic Wall TZ170+ are commercial.
Yes they cost more, but they also are more reliable and configurable. We
also connect to Liquid Compass for streaming and have no problems. If you
are not getting a login screen on your Linksys, you are probably not typing
in the correct IP addy. Open up a command screen and type in ipconfig /all
and look at your gateway address. This is the addy of the Linksys. The
Linksys defaults to no username and password admin. Once you are in CHANGE
THAT PASSWORD. you can set up port forwarding from the config screens. You
decide what ports to push to LC and make sure you have some kind of remote
access on those streaming computers and open those ports as well. Good Luck!

My problem right now is exactly the opposite -- I'm trying to connect our
streaming computers to Liquid Compass, but there is no connectivity at all.
Yes, our Windows Firewall is turned off. But they are not able to access
our IP addresses, nor can we connect to theirs. Our local cable people
suggested that we set our router to port-forwarding, but so far I am not
able to bring up the Linksys setup table at 192.168.0.1

Does anyone have any suggestions?
