WNAR used 3 hamilton rangemasters at seperate sites linked via internet.
I don't believe he is running the station anymore. the FCC busted my
friends part 15 station. he was told to either ground mount the
transmitter or not use a ground wire.
He asked how WNAR is legal and the agent replied he is not legal and
that WNAR was on their list of to do things.
I live in central nj, so i can't confirm if WNAR is still on the air or not.
I was told they were also going after tony di nicola, and other
stations in the langhorne pa district who are running elevated(whip &
mast) installations.
and harold you are correct. you cannot run a common oscillator into
multiple final amps and antenna's. you will get hit with the
composite system rules under part 15.
they have even stretched the rules a bit to include part 15 Tx's on
the same premises fed by a common audio source as a composite system.
this is what they did to WSJL in villa's NJ when he had 5
rangemasters mounted on a common tower.
