The telecom industry is NOT fine! Other countries have MUCH faster broadband
at MUCH cheaper prices! The United States is 17th in broadband deployment.

AT&T and Verizon have been trying to sue Vonage out of business for years.
Europe has had better cellphone service and much better phones for years. 
Long distance is so cheap in Europe that they GIVE it away! (see
www.voipcheap.com or Google" "Betamax Companies").

And here in the USA I pay 50 bucks a month for 10:1 assymetrical Internet
service that's throttled half the time (you DID Google Sandvine, didn't
you?).

In the UK you can get 25 meg SYMMETRICAL service for the equalivent of 30
dollars a month. In Japan and Korea 100 meg SYMMETRICAL service costs 40
dollars a month. 

But here I pay $50 for 10/1 meg assymetrical service.

What is to be undone?  The telecom industry is just fine. If you wish 
to complain about radio I will disagree. Consolidation has cleaned up 
the airwaves immensely.
