[BC] Digital converters remote question

My problem is, my coupons expire in June.. can't wait for the Echostar.

Query, though - how about if the converter is fed to the VCR's baseband
inputs; wouldn't that give you the equivalent of a "pass-through"?

Or if your TV has baseband inputs, feed the converter there, and
continue to use the tuner for analog off-air. Seems like either way
should allow reception of both analog and digital... even allows
recording digital or analog while watching analog!

To go the other way, you'd have to have two converters, I think....
