Here's a link to a fellow in the UK who uses a vintage disc cutter to - you ready for this? - create turntable-playable platters from old or recycled CDs and DVDs.

Most of us are still transferring our old vinyl collections to digital. Here's an odd dude who decided to go backwards and cut some old-school analog grooves into unwanted optical media to make them playable on that old Micro-Trak in the basement. 

Now, who's ready to mount that old Fidelipac cart deck into a tower PC?
