RE: Conversion of other contract services on ABC satellite.

Check the archives--I posted a report prepared by a Columbus, Ohio  
chief, Bill Bowin, on the conversion plans for all these services.  
It's under "Radio Satellite Services"

The short answers;

Yes, ABC satellite carries a number of independent networks, most  
notably, MRN and PRN with NASCAR racing

Yes, plans are to replace receivers for these networks in the first  
quarter of 2009.  We all know about the best laid plans of mice and men.
