So long as the location of the compulsory Main Studio can meet the
rules on location, full time manager presence, and control point
issues, it can go just about anywhere. Including the closet of the
local gas station or another location radio station.
Keep in mind that Class C FM signals can have 70dBu contours as far
out as 50 miles and Class A 50KW AM 5mV/M signals at the low end of
the band over 70 miles depending on the pattern employed and conductivity.
