That's what I thought, but WHY?  the Cubs should be a cash cow for 
Tribune.  Automatic sellout, at least for the commercial inventory, for 
both TV and Radio.  Only reason they don't have the STANDS full is the 
usual gang of suspects; wrong time of day, wrong time of month, etc... 
and even then, The Faithful manage to mostly be there.

Cubs on WGN is an institution, fergoshsakes! (Hmm - maybe the broadcasts 
are a factor in why the stands aren't full?  I mean, why fight the 
crowds when the best seats in the bleachers have TV cameras in them!)

I suspect the Fans would be crying "Foul Ball" if The Cubs on WGN ever 
went away...
