You're welcome. I always like to keep my peers up to date on both 
fashion trends and the legal ramifications that go with them. Our 
fearful leaders often don't fully consider the side effects of their 
legislation. I think the tree would be OK if it's on private property 
where no innocent children could observe the life-altering view. The 
person who originally brought this to my attention was referring to 
relieving oneself in a public place. I think our nation's obsession 
with the emotional safety and protection of children resulted in this 
unintended consequence.

I know it's not illegal in New York City as I've witnessed many 
citizens answer nature in very unusual places. The most unusual was 
between subway cars traveling at high speed. It's terribly dangerous 
since it leaves only one hand to hold on to a rumbling train where 
your next stop could be the third rail. There are virtually no public 
restrooms and places of business have posted signs that their 
facilities are off limits to all but paying customers.

Don't drink a lot of liquids while visiting New York.
